Once lessons are published you are ready to put together a Course. Courses can be found in Library.
Courses are a structured set of lessons to help get students from Point A to Point B. Academic teams are responsible for putting together basic Course content and then marking the course as "Checked" when complete. Marketing will then review the Course and add pricing data, etc. before the Course will appear on the OpenLanguage Store.
To start creating a new Course click on the "Create a New Course" link.
The first step to create a Course is to enter some basic descriptive information.
- Title - to describe the course
- Channel - this only needs to be done if you have more than one channel
- Course Description
- Course Objectives
- Image - this is used to represent the Course in the Store, on the website and in the mobile applications
Click on "Save as Draft" or "Checked" when complete. Your Course is now saved and available for future review or editing.
At the bottom of the page you will see a list of lessons that belong to the course to add a lesson simply click on the "Add a New Lesson" link.
Simply double-click on the lessons you would like to add and they will appear in the lesson list.
When you are complete simply mark the Course as "Checked" and now the course is available for Marketing to release into the OpenLanguage store.
